GLAC Community Outreach Reports
WaterTalks provides a document repository of reports from all the outreach and education events carried out through the program. Each report includes the community’s name, for easier searching. As community engagement was vital to all stages of the WaterTalks program, these reports are separated into three different waves of activities:
Wave 1: Initial Outreach
Beginning in 2019, these 71 event reports show how WaterTalks sought to introduce the program to local communities, and help raise awareness of the Strengths and Needs Assessment.
Wave 2: Strengths and Needs Assessment Results
These 33 events were intended to not only share results of the Strengths and Needs Assessment, but also to confirm that what was learned through Assessment surveys was accurate.
Wave 3: Project Development
The Needs Assessment inspired several projects that underwent development from 2022-2024. These 68 reports cover how communities were informed and engaged about projects affecting their areas, and helped shape the project elements and designs.
